Having completed over 8,000 repairs in the Los Angeles area, I’ve had the good fortune to work on a wide variety of acoustic and electric guitars, basses, and world instruments of all manner, each with unique issues. I generally have a quick turnaround for setups, fret level/crown/polishing, electronic work, brace reglueing, & more. I specialize in headstock reglues, and also have extensive experience with complex banjo repair. I can repair both synthetic-head and natural-hide banjos of all manner - both four and five string. I have a great deal of experience with repairs of complexity - mystery buzzes, multiple-angle breaks/cracks, finish touch-up, headstock breaks - most jobs requiring extensive repair. I have worked on many vintage guitars, and will create the best plan to complete your repair successfully while maintaining the originality of your instrument, in order to maintain its value as best as possible.
